Commons Ford Ranch Metropolitan Park – This park is a delightful find.  An old ranch whose meadows have been restored to native Texas grasslands is a number one destination for bird watchers.  Its trails also wander through an old pecan grove and along the shores of Lake Austin.  The trails are well- packed and gently sloping.

614 Commons Ford Road, Austin, TX 78733.

Carpooling will be arranged when the RSVP’s are in.
